Dorset Chamber -“Inspire Inclusion”

International Women’s Day 2024 aims to #InspireInclusion and collectively forge a more inclusive world for women. You are invited to join the Dorset Business community on 8 March at The Captain’s Club in Christchurch for a networking lunch event to celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day.

Enabling and supporting inclusive workplaces and career progression for women is critical to social growth. By exploring ways we can inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there’s a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.

That’s precisely what this event is about: bringing women together to support one another, be inspired by one another, and build on our personal and business mindsets. This is where the magic happens.

Our keynote speaker is the inspirational Siobhan Harrington, who is responsible for one of the largest, most diverse workforces in Dorset.

As chief executive of University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust, which includes Royal Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole hospitals, Siobhan oversees 10k employers and an annual turnover of £750m. At the event she will share insights and experiences on her inspirational career, from her start as nurse to the current challenges leading an ever-evolving, inclusive workforce and the £1/4 billion transformation programme of the Trust.
