Women In Activism- Portsmouth

An evening of inspirational women in activism, music and fun

💖 Join us on international women’s day as we celebrate women in activism. You’ll hear from a panel of local women working on campaigns focused on environmental, women’s rights and social issues. Hosted by Turning Tides.

It will be an evening of inspirational women, awesome music + poetry, showcasing important campaigns and raising money for local groups.

There will be a raffle on the night with some exciting prizes donated by small businesses!

We will be raising funds and the donations will be split equally to all the campaigns taking part, as well as our entertainment. There will be a crowdfunder set up for the night that you can donate to online, but we’ll also have the option for cash donations. We understand that times are tough right now, but if you can contribute anything we are so grateful.

The event will be hosted by Turning Tides.

Turning Tides is a community interest company aiming to create an environmental community space(Climate Emergency Centre) that we can all work together on, to find solutions to the climate and social crises, supporting local issues, building community networks, sustainability and resilience.
